What We Do

God is extending an invitation to know, love, and serve Him, more than you ever have before.

He sends the Holy Spirit who gives us courage and faith to experience what Jesus meant when He taught us to pray, "Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven."

The Catholic Charismatic Renewal invites everyone to let the Holy Spirit be your close friend. The Holy Spirit empowers us to do the will of God in our lives, by discerning and fulfilling our vocation and mission, enables us to become saints, and bring the Good News about Jesus to the whole world, one person at a time.

The mission of the Charismatic Renewal Services Committee is to help people develop a strong and vibrant relationship with the Holy Spirit. You are invited to grow in this through participating in Prayer Groups, events, seminars, retreats, and friendships in a community who loves God, loves people, and loves life!

Jesus said, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses" (Acts 1:8). The Holy Spirit empowered the first Christians as recorded in the Bible, the saints throughout the ages, and this promise can be fulfilled in your life today.

"to all Christians: open yourselves docilely to the gifts of the Spirit! Accept gratefully and obediently the charisms which the Spirit never ceases to bestow on us!" - St. John Paul II, St. Peter's Square, June 3, 1998
