Pray For Our Seminarians

Picture"Calling of Peter and Andrew" by Duccio di Buoninsegna, Italy, 1620-1318
The Renewal supports the Arlington Diocese seminarians currently in formation to serve God’s Church and His people.  As they strive towards their goal of ordination, pray for fortification in their studies, a greater outpouring of the graces of the Holy Spirit, and protection from Our Blessed Mother.  Pray also for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and religious life.

Please lift up our seminarians in prayer daily.

Daily Prayer for Our Seminarians
O Lord Jesus, great High Priest, we entrust our seminarians to You. Enlighten the faculty in their guidance, spiritual directors in molding them, and professors in instructing them. Lead our seminarians daily in Your footsteps; so that they may become priests who are models of purity, teachers of wisdom, and heroes of sacrifice. Fill them with humility and love for God and man. Transform them into apostles of Your glory and sanctifiers of souls. Holy Mary, Queen of the Clergy, pray for them and obtain for us many more.

Daily Prayer for Vocations to the Religious and Consecrated Life
O God, Father of all Mercies, Provider of a bountiful Harvest, send Your Graces upon those you have called to gather the fruits of your labor; preserve and strengthen them in their lifelong service of you.

Open the hearts of your children that they may discern Your Holy Will; inspire in them a love and desire to surrender themselves to serving others in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ.

Teach all your faithful to follow their respective paths in life guided by Your Divine Word and Truth. Through the intercession of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary, all the Angels, and Saints, humbly hear our prayers and grant Your Church's needs, through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
